WILLIAM DIAMOND deceased.
I, William Diamond, of Change Islands, Fisherman, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following: First. I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Allan, my fishing Room, comprising Dwelling house, Stage, Stores, Flakes and all land connected therewith, also my Garden situate in the bottom of Nathan’s Harbor. Second. I give and bequeath to my son Allan and my daughter, Sophia, all my fishing property, comprising the Schooner “Wild Briar”, Codtraps, Motor Boats and Skiffs, Herring Nets, and any other Fishing property not here mentioned, share and share alike. Third I give and bequeath to my wife, Mary Ann, all money belonging to me, or found in my name in any Bank or elsewhere, to be used by my said wife, Mary Ann, for her comfort and support during her lifetime. Any amount remaining after her decease to be divided in two and one half shares, one share each to my son Allan and my daughter, Sophia, and the half share to my adopted daughter Beatrice Diamond. Fourth. I hereby appoint Richard Taylor executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I William Diamond, the testator, have to this, my last will and testament, set my hand and seal, this fifth day of July A.D. 1916.
