In re     WILLIAM ROSE      deceased.

    Herring Neck March 16th 1914     This is the last will and testament of me William Rose Fisherman of Herring Neck in the District of Twillingate Nfld
    First:     I Give and bequeath to “John Thomas Hurley of Jacob” my dwelling house to be removed from my room one year after my death or as soon as convenient either after or before.
    Second:- I give and bequeath to Robert Rose son of “Thomas Rose” and children my part of room “gardens meadows etc” my “salmon and herring nets” stage flake house furniture including beds etc., “cooper shop” store and cows
    Third:- I give and bequeath to Nora Jane Rose daughter of “Robert Rose” my sewing machine
    Fourth:-     I give and bequeath to Thomas Rose son of Robert Rose my breech loading gun”     To Keywood Rose son of Robert Rose one of my large sealing guns To Stephen Rose son of Robert Rose my small mussel loading gun To Robert Rose son of Thomas Rose one of my large sealing guns.
    Fifth:- I appoint Malcolm Simms and John Thomas Hurley as my executors.     William Rose (LS) In testimony whereof I have set my hand and seal March 16th 1914.     Signed sealed and delivered in our presence and in the presence of each other This sixteenth day of March A.D. 1914     Alfred Philpott (LS)     Arthur Malcolm (LS) witnesses.
