Will of Thomas Perry from Newfoundland will books volume 4 page 195 probate year 1882

 

In re
         Thomas Perry deceased.

In the name of God Amen.     Be it known that I Thomas Perry of Indian Islands in the District of Fogo Newfoundland do on this the fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one make my last will and testament by which I convey my entire personal and real estate.     That is to say:     I give & bequeath all and everything of my personal and real estate (without simply and purely the mere fishing, tools, boats, nets, lines &c. and whatever has to do with the fishing employ) to my wife Ann Perry without further reservation to be hers until she shall either die or marry a second time at which periods the remains of said estate shall be given to my only brother William Perry of Indian Islands aforesaid and in case of his death to go to his heirs & assigns.     I also do appoint my only brother William Perry as sole executor of this my last will & testament     Witnessed under my hand this fifteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and eighty one.     Signed:     Thomas Perry.     In the presence of the subscribing witnesses, Henry George Scammell.
