Will of Stephen Harbin

In re: STEPHEN HARBIN DECEASED.

this is the last Will and Testament of me, Stephen Harbin, Master Mariner, hereby revoking all other wills and testament by me at any time heretofore made. I give devise and bequeath all my estate real and personal as follows.

First. To my wife Lavinia Harbin my dwelling-house land, out-houses for her sole use during her lifetime, and upon her death to be conveyed to my son A. Stanley Harbin for his sole use and benefit, with the understanding that so long as any of my daughters remain unmarried they to be allowed to live peaceably in my dwelling, above devised

Second. My interest in the Great Gull Pond Lake, mine. I give and devise as follows. One-half to my son A. Stanley Harbin, the remainder to my daughters Hannah Lindfield, Phebe Harbin, Dulcie Harbin and Irene Harbin to be equally divided amongst them.

Third. My interest in the Twillingate Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. I give and bequeath to my wife Lavinia.

Fourth. My organ I give and devise unto my daughter Phebe Harbin, all the rest residue and remainder I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Lavinia Harbin for her sole use and benefit forever, except my tools which I give and devise to my son A. Stanley Harbin.

I nominate, constitute and appoint Jacob Moors and Edward Linfield executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I subscribe my hand this 7th day of May A.D. 1920. Stephen Harbin Signed in the presence of Jacob Moors Charles White.
