In re: SARAH POND. DECEASED
I Sarah Pond of Twillingate South Island (Farmer’s Arm) in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland In the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six May the twenty-fifth day make this my last will and Testament while in possession of sound mind and memory.
(1) I give and devise unto my daughter Elizabeth Pond the half of my dwelling house and half the goods and chattels therein given to me by a deed of Gift registered in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland January 25th 1895 also the piece of land given me by Mrs Churchill situated near the Pond for her sole use and benefit
(2) I give and devise unto my son George V Pond the remainder of the land and property given to me by my late husband William Pond and specified in the above named deed for his sole use and benefit forever.
(III) And thirdly I hereby appoint and constitute George V Pond as my executor of this my last will and Testament
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal on the day and date above mentioned (sgd) Sarah her x mark Pond (LS) Signed in the presence of us present by making her mark after being first read over and explained and who seemed to perfectly understand it. William Pond C. White
