Will of Samuel R. Gillette from Newfoundland will books volume 8 pages 209-210 probate year 1906.

In re Samuel R. Gillette deceased

I Samuel R. Gillette of Durrel's Arm Twillingate South Island, of Newfoundland in the Northern District of Newfoundland make this my last will and testament while in possession of sound mind and memory this twenty second day of March AD. 1906

I give and devise and bequeath my property real and personal in the following manner that is to say (a) After all my just debts are paid out of my Life Insurance Policy. I give and devise the remainder of my money that may be derived from my Life Insurance Policy to my father James Gillette and my wife Mary Elizabeth Gillette to be divided equally between them.
I give and bequeath unto my dwelling house unto my brother James Gillette for his sole use and benefit forever.
All the rest and residue of my possessions I give devise and bequeath unto my father, James Gillette my wife Mary Elizabeth Gillette and my brother James Gillette to be equally divided between them.
Lastly I hereby appoint and constitute my father James Gillette and Henry J. Howlett to be my executors of this last will and testament and hereby revoke all other wills by me made. And desire that my executors shall not be required to give security for the same.

In witness whereof I hereby set my hand on the day and date above mentioned Samuel Gillette Signed by the Testator in the presence of each of us who by his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names thereto as witnesses of the same Adam Pond Charles White
