Will of Peter Samways

In re: PETER SAMWAYS. DECEASED

Twillingate, Newfoundland, November 19th 1902 This is the last will and Testament of me Peter Samways of North Side Twillingate, Newfoundland. I give and devise all my Estate and Effects real and personal of which I may die possessed or entitled unto my son William Marshall Samways (at present living at St. John’s Newfoundland) absolutely, And I appoint my son sole executor of this my will. I also give and bequeath to my said son, whatever monies there may be deposited in my name in the Bank at St. John’s and also what monies I may have in possession at the time of my decease, funeral expenses and any small debts being paid out of the same.

In witness thereto I have set my hand this 19th day of Nov 1902 Peter Samways Signed by the Testator in the joint presence of us who thereupon signed our names in his and each others presence Fredk. Linfield Merchant. Wm. J. Scott. N.P. Merchant.
