IN RE: NICHOLAS MAHONEY. DECEASED
I, Nicholas Mahoney, Planter, of Tilting, hereby make this my last Will and Testament, and I appoint my brother, Michael Mahoney, to be Executor of this my Will. Of the money belonging to me, at present on deposit with the Bank of Nova Scotia, in Fogo, I leave to my grandson John Mahoney, fifty dollars. To my grandson, Nicholas Walsh, fifty dollars. For Masses for the repose of my soul, fifty dollars. For the erection of a headstone to my memory twenty-five dollars.
The balance to be handed to the priest, for Tilting Church.
To my grandson, John Mahoney, I leave my dwelling house, Store and Stage, also my garden near the Lookout Hill.
To my brother Michael, I leave my fishing boat, with all her belongings, collar chain etc. also my Codnets, my garden in Pumbly Cove, horse, harness, and slide.
To my son-in-law, Stephen Walsh, I leave my new punt.
