IN RE: MICHAEL HACKETT. DECEASED This is the last Will and Testament of me Michael Hackett, Merchant of Joe Batts Arm in the Island of Newfoundland, being well in health, sound of mind, memory and understanding, made this thirtieth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four. June 30th 1924. I revoke all former wills or other testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament. I hereby give devise and bequeath unto my niece Jane Hackett, her heirs or assigns, eight hundred dollars ($800.00) of my Life Assurance Policy with the Sun Life Assurance Co. And I give unto Margaret Donahoe (daughter of Patrick & Nora Donahoe) two hundred dollars ($200.00) of the said Policy with the said Company. I give devise and bequeath unto my brothers Jeremiah Hackett and John Hackett and unto my sister Cecilia Jacobs all my money deposited with the Bank of Nova Scotia. Each shall receive an equal part thereof. This provision shall apply to their heirs or assigns as well as to themselves. I give and bequeath unto my niece Jane Hackett all of my share (which is one half) of the dwelling house occupied by my brother Jeremiah and myself, as well as my share of the land and erections thereon, and the Shop and half of the Stock contained therein. I hereby nominate and appoint Walter Penton of Joe Batts Arm, to be Executor of this my will. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand on this thirtieth day of June Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and twenty four. June 30th 1924. MICHAEL HACKETT. Signed, Published and declared by the above named testator as and for his last Will and testament, in the presence of us both present at the same time, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
