Will of Elijah Kendall

In re: ELIJAH KENDALL. DECEASED.

I, Elijah Kendall, of Fogo, in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland, being of sound mind, and memory, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.

[1] I give and devise unto my daughter Janet Kendall my dwelling house and all its contents, my land and all erections thereon.

[2] I give and bequeath unto my daughter Bessie Ginn three hundred dollars. The remainder of my money of which I may die possessed I give and bequeath unto my daughter Janet Kendall.

[3] All the rest residue and remainder I give and bequeath unto my daughter Janet Kendall.

[4] I hereby appoint and constitute Charles White J.P. of Twillingate to be my executor, and hereby revoke all other wills by me made. In witness whereof I hereunto subscribed my hand this 24th day of September A.D. 1917. Elijah his X mark Kendall Signed in the presence of Martin Stuckless Frank G. Stuckless
