In re DAVID LEWIS. DECEASED. The last will and Codicil of David Lewis late of Botwoodville Merchant deceased. This is the last will and testament of me David Lewis of Botwoodville in the Island of Newfoundland Merchant I appoint Jacob T. Bendle of Botwoodville in the Island aforesaid sole executor of this my last will and testament. I give devise and bequeath unto hereto my children namely Hallett Nelson, Howard Alister, Seretta wife of William Tupper and Sariah(?) wife of George Beaton all my moneys property goods chattels and effects and generally all my estate of whatsoever kind or nature and wheresoever situate of which I may die possessed share and share alike In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John*s in the Island aforesaid this 17th day of March A.D. 1904 David Lewis Signed by the said testator as his last will in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Bessie Ellis A.L.C. Berteau. This is a codicil to my (David Lewis) of Botwoodville Nf last will and testament made in the month of March last and executed by me at the General Hospital St. John*s in the presence of A.L.C. Berteau solicitor and Bessie Ellis Nurse the subscribing witnesses thereto. It is my wish and will that over and above the share of my estate to which my son Howard would under my said will be entitled to he shall take and hold as his individual right and property free from any division whatsoever the land upon which his house is built and which is bounded, as near as I can now remember as follows: - On the eastern side by land in the occupancy of one James Squires on the northern and western sides by land in the occupancy of one George Seabright and on the southern side by a publi c road the same being fenced on all sides with the exception of the side which which is bounded by land of the said George Seabright. In all other respects I confirm my said will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John*s aforesaid this 29th day of April 1904.
