In re
Luke Manuel deceased That I, Luke Manuel of Northern Arm Exploits River in the Electoral District of twillingate, Agent and trader, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament. 1st. I give and bequeath to my son Job the land on which he now lives and referred to in another Deed made by the late Thomas Peyton Esq J.P. -also one third of my old Dwelling House. 2nd. I give and bequeath to my son Philip on half share of land formerly occupied by me comprising the "Room" after my death, and with William D. to hold undisturbed possession of the land on which he now lives, also one third share of my old Dwelling House. 3rd. I give and bequeath to my son William D one half share of land formerly occupied by me comprising the "Room" after my death and with Philip to hold undisturbed possession of the land on which he now lives, also the old stable and Pigs house and one third share of my old Dwelling House. 4th. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Priscilla Jane all my money deposited in the Newfld Savings Band or anywhere else, {after my lawful debts funeral and other expenses shall be paid } for her lawful use during her life only and the residue of cash at her death shall be equally divided between my five children, Job, Philip, William D, Maria Jane and Lilian and should any of them predecease their mother then the share of each one predeceased shall be equally divided amongst the children of predeceased parent. 5th. I appoint my friend Edgar Peyton and John W. Aitken -both of Botwood in district first before mentioned executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I the said Luke Manuel set my hand and seal hereunto this 15th day of February A D 1917. Luke Manuel.
