To the Honourable the Supreme Court
on Circuit at Twillingate
The Petition of James W Small of Tizzard’s Harbor Twillingate Humbly Sheweth That Petitioner’s father Simon Small of Twillingate District died at Tizzard’s Harbor in the month of May 1892. That deceased died intestate and left him surviving a widow Naomi Small and three children vz James Small (your Petitioner) Ellen? Small wife of William Jothanors(?) and Eva? Small wife of Daniel McCormack (both living in the United States of America.) That deceased died possessed of property of the probable value of about four hundred dollars. That deceased had at the time of his death a fixed place of abode within the Jurisdiction of this Honourable Court vz at Tizzard’s Harbor aforesaid. That neither Probate of any will nor administration to the Estate and Effects of deceased has as yet been granted to any one. Petitioner therefore prays that Administration to the Estate and effects of deceased may be granted to him And as Duty found ? Twillingate Sept 21/92
Supreme Court in the matter of the Estate of Simon Small late of Tizzard’s Harbor deceased. Twillingate I James Small of Tizzard’s Harbor fisherman make oath and say that I am the person named in the foregoing Petition and that the contents of the said Petition are correct and true to the best of this deponants? present knowledge and belief.
