I James Primmer, of Black Island Notre Dame Bay in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland, realizing the uncertainty of life and being of sound mind and memory, to make this my last will and testament, in the following manner, that is to say:- 

1. I give and bequeath unto my wife Susan Primmer the sum of one hundred dollars

2. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Beatrice Potter the sum of one hundred dollars. 

3. I give and devise unto my son Robert Primmer now residing at Boston USA one of my Cod-traps, that is if he [Robert] should return to Newfoundland and require it for fishing purposes. In the meantime my son James Primmer is to have the use of it if he so requires

4. I give devise and bequeath unto my son James Primmer all my property not otherwise disposed of unto my son James Primmer said property consisting of lands, houses, water-side premises and fishing-gear Also my money I may die possessed of whether in my house or in the Bank or elsewhere. 

5. Whereas I did in section 1 give and devise unto my wife Susan Primmer the sum of one hundred dollars I do now increase that amount to two hundred dollars [$200] and allow her out of said two hundred dollars a yearly sum of twenty-five dollars [$25] until the said sum and interest thereon is expended, but should she die before the said amount of two hundred dollars is expended then the remainder is to go to my son James Primmer for his sole use and benefit. All the rest residue and remainder of my property real and personal I give devise and bequeath unto my son James Primmer. 

Lastly I hereby appoint and constitute Charles White N.P. of Twillingate my Executor, and hereby revoke all other wills by me made.In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 27th day of Sept. 1913 A.D.James Primmer. Signed in the presence of George Guy Reginald C. White Charles White
