Dawe P Osmond deceased

This is the last will and testament of me Dawe P Osmond of Moretons Harbour, in the Dominion of Newfoundland, merchant, hereby revoking all wills or codicils by me at any time heretofore made. 

1. I give and bequeath to my wife Jane Osmond, the following sums of money as follows, in the Canadian Bank of Commerce twenty nine thousand six hundred and eighty three dollars [$29,683] Bank of Nova Scotia St. John's sixteen thousand seven hundred and eighty four [16,784] Bank of Nova Scotia Halifax five thousand three hundred and sixty one [$5361] Trade Bakery St. John's One thousand dollars [$1000] Newfoundland Clothing Co. One thousand eight hundred seventy five dollars [$1875] Marine Insurance Co. Six hundred [$600] Nickol and Inkpen Five hundred dollars [$500] Cowan Co. Three thousand dollars [$3000] for her sole use and benefit forever. 

2. I give and devise unto my said wife, my dwelling house, furniture, and all my homestead consisting of lands and out houses etc. for her sole use and benefit forever. 

3. I give and devise unto my brother Frederick Osmond my stock in trade of whatever kind of which I may die possessed, subject to the following conditions, - that amounts which may be due to the estate of the late Louis Osmond, or elsewhere must be paid out of the trade, as its first obligations and when these obligations are met then the remainder of the business becomes the property of my brother Frederick for his sole use and benefit forever. 

4. All the rest residue and remainder of my property real and personal I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife for her sole use and benefit forever. 

5. I hereby appoint and constitute my wife Jane Osmond Executrix and Charles White of Twillingate, Justice of the Peace Executor of this my last Will and Testament.In witness whereof I subscribe these presents as written this fourteenth day of August. A D. 1919. D. P. Osmond. Signed published and declared by the said Testator as his last Well & Testament in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our hands and subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.George Bennett.
