In re
William Yates deceased I, William Yates of Twillingate South Island in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland, make this my last will and testament, while in the possession of sound mind and memory; hereby revoking all former wills by me made. I bequeath and devise all my property, real and personal, wheresoever the same may be, to my beloved wife, Grace Yates. I appoint my said wife the executrix of this my last will and testament. My will is that my said wife shall not be required to give and (any?) bonds or security to the judge of probate for the faithful execution of the duties of executrix. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one. William his X mark Yates. Signed sealed and declared by the testator, William Yates, to us after being read and explained to him as his last will and testament.
