Spotted Island is located on the southeast Labrador coast near the community of Black Tickle and about 60 miles south of Cartwright. Another community that was once a thriving fishing settlement, both for Labrador and Newfoundland fiserfolk. Today, Spoted Island is uninhabited, except some local people who maintain summer cabins there. |
