Will of William Bamfield

In re: WILLIAM BAMFIELD. DECEASED

The last will and Testament of William Bamfield living in Mays Cove Bay de L Argent Fortune Bay I William Bamfield being sound in mind but sick in body do make this my last will and testament. To my children I give any money I may possess whether in any Bank, on deposit or running account. To be evenly divided between them so that each child shall have the same amount. The piece of land I possess nearest Bay de L Argent Back Cove I give to my three sons. James, Robert and George Richard to be evenly divided between them. The meadow nearest Mays Cove excepting the potato ground I give to George Richard. The potato ground to my wife. The cabbage garden I give to Robert. The half of the dwelling house occupied by my wife and myself. I leave to my wife. The other half occupied by George Richard I leave to him. My lobster traps, lines, and dory I leave to Robert, my fishing stage and stable to George Richard. My nets evenly among James Robert and George Richard. Dated 16th day of November 1907 Signed by William Bamfield his x mark in the presence of the following witnesses, who each signs in the presence of the other Conard Fitzgerald M.R.C.S. Eli M Parsons E. G. Banfield
