In re: SAMUEL G. PIKE. DECEASED. I give devise and bequeath my Estate and property as follows, that is to say, I give to my adopted son William Alexander Rose all my landed property at St Lawrence aforesaid, consisting of my dwelling House, household furniture plate linen and chattels of every description, Stores Stage Flakes and all other landed property that I may be possessed of at my decease, for the following consideration namely, that the said William Alexander Rose my said adopted son furnishes and supplies me with good wholesome food during the remainder of my natural life and in every legitimate manner supply my every need or requirement as occasion may require And especially when I am sick. That my said adopted son shall at his own expense keep all my said property in a good state of repair during the remainder of my natural life. I also give to my said adopted son all Cattle that I may be possessed at my decease providing that the foregoing conditions are complied with. I appoint William Hollett of the firm of W & T. Hollett Burin Executor of this my Will. SAMUEL G. PIKE. Signed by the said Samuel G.
