In re MARY ANN LAWRENCE deceased. By the Grace of God Amen I Mary Ann Laurence nee Thornhill of Bay l’Argent, Fortune Bay, Newfoundland do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament, I desire first of all, that at my demise, all of my funeral expenses to be paid first, and then after that I will and bequeath one piece of land to my grandsons, Stephen and Freeman Laurence, situated between their fathers house and William Miles fence, and my son Robert I give and bequeath the land his house is on, including a path on the West end of his house, eight feet wide, and land on the east end, to the public path adjoining my land the other side of the public path, also the other piece of land on the east side of the public path I give and bequeath to my grandson Charles Laurence Benjamin’s son. I hereby desire and command, that the expenses of probate shall be equally divided I hereby appoint my son Robert to be my executor (having been first read and explained to the testatrix) signed and sealed in the presence of the testatrix and in the presence of each other this sixteenth day of June one thousand nine hundred and fifteen Mary Ann her X mark Laurence.
