Will of Josiah Payne

In re: JOSIAH PAYNE. DECEASED

I Josiah Payne fisherman of Green Point, Newfoundland hereby make my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills and dispositions of my property. I give and bequeath to my nephew Josiah, son of my brother Peter, the sum of one hundred dollars. I give and bequeath to my wife Leah, all monie in my possession and in the Savings Bank of the Bank of Montreal, my houses, barns, land, cattle, sheep, boats fur-traps, household effects, and at her death whatever may be left to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters. In the event of my wife remarrying, then I direct that all monies be equally divided between my brothers and sisters and my wife to have possession of the house and household effects land, cattle, boats, gear &c (sgd) Josiah Payne witnessed by us this twenty-eighth day of July, 1904 Charles (sgd) W Hollands (sgd) Peter Payne
