Will of John Grandy

IN RE:   JOHN GRANDY.    DECEASED

In the name of God. Amen I John Grandy of Belleoram Fortune Bay, planter being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament.

First. I give and bequeath to my daughter Emily Burdock the garden near Rabbitts Brook below the public road

Secondly. I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Maria Poole the garden above the road and near Rabbitts Brook

Thirdly. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas George Grandy, the dwelling house and all land in connection with it the sheep stable and land on which it stands and the cabbage garden.

Fourthly I give and bequeath the sum of Seventy Dollars to be divided equally among my seven daughters.

Fifthly: I give and bequeath the sum of One Hundred and fifty Dollars to my son Thomas George Grandy.

Sixth. I give and bequeath the waterside property near E. J. Burdock to my son Thomas George Grandy.

Seventh All my personal effects and household goods and chattels I give and bequeath to my son Thomas George Grandy. I do hereby appoint Frederick Curnew Sub-Collector and Levi A. McCuish Tidewaiter both of Belleoram to be joint Executors of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this First day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven John his x mark Grandy (LS) witnesses F. Curnew J.P. Levi A McCuish
