In re EMMANUEL FOOTE deceased I, Emmanuel Foote, resident of Harbor Breton, in the District of Fortune Bay, Newfoundland, do hereby make my last will and testament: I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Foote all my lands house, furniture, situated at Harbor Breton for her use during her life-time. Whatever remains of my property at the time of my wife’s Elizabeth Foote’s death is to be sold and the proceeds is to be equally divided into four parts and given to my three children- to each one part- Maria Jane Ross, Bertha Tryphena Mavin, Emily Spenser, and one part to my grandson Isaac Foote. In witness hereto, I place my mark this 7th day of ____ Emmanuel his X mark Foote. Emmanuel Foote made his mark in our presence and we in his presence and the presence of each other signed out names this 7th day of Feb. 1913
