A. NOLAN, son of Capt. Dick Noland of the schooner Eve M. D. of Marystown, washed overboard and drowned, when the vessel was crossing Placentia Bay.

Body of Julia MacDONALD, who strayed from her home at Robinson December 15th found by section man Gale behind a pile of fire wood about 6 miles from Robinson's station.

Two men Lovi  EDDY and William DALTON, of Catalina, dead, and Eugene Dalton very badly frostbitten, as result of being out all night in an open boat in which they has left the previous day bird hunting.

Mrs. CURTIS, aged 65, native of Trepassey, passed away at Poor Asylum from effect of burns received when her dress caught fire as she was drying a handkerchief.

Six year old son of James HEARN, Low Point B. D. V. , when watching his father do some fencing on the edge of clift fell over and was either killed or drowned.

Lifeless body of Aulea HATTON, of Duckworth Street found by Theophilus Squires of St. Phillips in the wood near Kenmount Road. about a mile from town.  Hatten had been missing from his home for about a week.

Alister TAYLOR, aged 21, son of Gilbet Taylor, of Grand Falls drowned in Exploits River whilst canoeing.
Thomas STRICKLAND of Raymond's Point, drowned from motor boat.

Frank MAHER, aged 50, years, Traveling Auditor with the Newfoundland Railway, dies at Northcliff Hospital, Grand Falls, as result of injuries sustained when he fell between a second and first class railway car when the train was in motion.

Thomas CONWAY, 30, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel CONWAY, Conception Harbor crushed under a heavy highway truck near Sydney and dies on way to Hospital.

Max WATTON, 18 year old postal messenger at Humbermouth, drowned of a log boom when he fell into the water attempting to save his dog.
