Will of William Shepperd

In the name of God Amen, Know all men by these presents that William Shepperd of South Side Harbour Grace, Conception Bay, Island of Newfoundland, Planter, being sick in body but of sound mind and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament, revoking and annulling all other wills and testaments by me at any time made, declaring this to be my last will and testament. In the first place, I recommend my soul to God and desire my body to be laid in the ground with decent christian burial. My worldly property I will and bequeath in the following manner, to wit, unto my beloved wife Jane Shepperd, I will and bequeath all the money I may be possessed of at my decease with what cattle there may be then on the Room.
