In re WILLIAM TALBOT: DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I William Talbot of Harbor Grace being now in good bodily health and sound memory do hereby make my last will and testament first I give and bequeath to my adopted child Eliza Carberry Talbot all my property in Harbor Grace consisting of houses lands cattle household furniture and every thing the house contains together with three hundred pounds currency- I give and bequeath to my niece Maryanne Power one hundred pounds currency to my sister Catherine Power the sum of fifty pounds currency to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul St. John’s, twenty five pounds currency the parish priest of Harbor Grace for Masses for my soul the sum of five pounds to the parish priest of Portugal Cove for the same intention five pounds and lastly I appoint the Honourable John Munn Merchant of Harbor Grace my sole executor to this my last will and testament-Wm.
