IN RE: WILLIAM GHANEY. DECEASED
I William Ghaney Colliers District of Hr. Main fisherman being of sound & disposing mind & memory do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former will & testamentary dispositions heretofore at any time by me made. I hereby appoint James Whelan to be the executor of this my last will & testament.
I leave to my lawful wife the dwelling house to have until her death I also leave to my lawful wife the cow The heifer I give to Nicholas which will help him to get a horse I request Nicholas to support his mother & I give him the house after her death
I leave my son Samuel that piece of land under fence to the east of ditch given him by me. I leave the ridge to be equally divided between my four sons, Edward, John Samuel & William. I leave to the youngest son, Nicholas the remaining portion of my land.
I leave all my out-houses for the use of all my sons. I witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this the Fourth day of November one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine William his x mark Ghaney Signed and acknowledged by the said William Ghaney as an for his last will & testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.
