    In the name of God Amen I William Cole of Brigus Conception Bay do make & declare this my last will & Testament in manner & form following that is to say: I give devise & bequeath Fifty dollars for Masses to be said according to my intention, Fifty dollars for the Catholic Church of Brigus. Fifty dollars to William Ellis Fifty dollars to John Ellis & the Residue of my Estate to Wm Ellis to be disposed of for my use & benefit as he may think fit & proper & I hereby name & appoint Wm.
