Will of William A. Green

IN RE:   WILLIAM A. GREEN.    DECEASED

I, William A. Green, of Brigus, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, being of sound mind and memory, do make, and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, revoking all others ever made and signed by me, that is to say:-

First. After all my lawful debts and funeral and testamentary expenses are paid and discharged, I bequeath to my wife, Elizabeth Green, during her natural life, all my real and personal estate of every kind and description, and wheresoever situate; but she is not to sell, bargain, or lease any portion or part of said estate except by the consent of my executors herein after named.

Second. After the decease of my wife Elizabeth Green, my property is to be sold, and the nett proceeds equally divided among my children then living.

Third. In the event of my son John, who has so mysteriously disappeared from amongst us, and whom we now believe to be dead, having made a Will, whereby I may become entitled to any part of his estate, that whether it be money or property, I hereby devise and bequeath same of whatever description to my grandchild Charlotte Agnes, the only daughter of John W. Green.

Fourth. I hereby appoint E. J. Horwood of St. John's, and Thomas H. Bartlett of Brigus, to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof, I William A. Green the Testator, have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Eleventh day of December, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twelve.

W. A. GREEN.

Signed, Sealed and Delivered, by the Testator, in the presence of us, who (in his presence) at his request, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

Jabez P. Thompson.     R. H. Maddock.
