Will of Thomas Lewis from Newfoundland will books volume 10 page 431 probate year 1916

 In re

    Thomas Lewis     deceased

In the name of God Amen this first day of August 1912. I Thomas Lewis of Holyrood Conception Bay Newfoundland Planter and farmer being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory of my body do make this my last will and testament. First give and bequit to my Wife a piece of land bounded N.E. by Ellis Lewis S.W. by Patrick Lewis. N.W. by Patrick Lewis S.E. by rail road.
I also bequit by dwelling house, barron kitching garden, all clare land, also a piece of land bounded N.W. by Kennedy road S.E. Moses Lewis N.E. by Philip Lewis S.W. by James Besan. Should my Wife marry its to become my son Johns. Should my son John fail to help and support his mother, it's up to my wife to do as she see fit, and give to either daughter the privilege of marring and living on the premices.
I bequit to my son John a piece of land bounded by Kennedy road and Mloneys road. S.W. by James Lewis. N.E. by Parish not to sell without his mother's wishes. I also bequeath to each of my daughters one sheep should there be any on the premises.    Sined & sealed and delivered in the presence of me Thomas Lewis     Witness William Coady     Witness John Walsh
