Will of Thomas Hawco

IN RE:   THOMAS HAWCO.    DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of me Thomas Hawco of Chapel's Cove in the District of Harbour Main. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Johanna Hawco my house cabbage garden and one sheep until her death and then it becomes my sons Christopher Hawco. My son Christopher Hawco is to support his mother Johanna Hawco while she lives on my place but if she leaves the place she has no further claim.

My land I bequeath to my son Christopher Hawco, the boundaries are thus-: on south west by Thos Hawco northwest by Flynn's Northeast by Fewers, and on south by Pond Road, my horse I bequeath to my son Christopher Hawco also my cellar, My part of my fathers land in Chaples Cove which is now occupied by Sarah Hawco I bequeath to my nephew Bernard Hawco. I bequeath to my daughter Ann Ezekiel one twenty cents to my daughter Margaret Hickey forty cents to my daughter Susan Hawco one twenty cents My household effects I bequeath to my son Christopher Hawco

If in case any thing should happen to my wife Johanna Hawco before my son Christopher Hawco would come home, Thomas Hawco executor of my will is to take possession of my place until my son Christopher Hawco come home This will revokes all previous wills made by me at any time before and I declare this writing to be my last will and Testament In witness I here set my hand this third day of February in the year of our Lord 1912.
