Will of Thomas Corbett

In re: THOMAS CORBETT. DECEASED.

St. John’s Newfoundland.

I, Thomas Corbett, of the Village of Clarke’s Beach, in the Dominion of Newfoundland, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I hereby appoint Mr. Peter Power, and Mr. William Corbett, of the city of St. John’s, in the Dominion of Newfoundland, to be my Co Executors of this my last Will, directing my said Executors to pay all my debts, Funeral and other expenses out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my death.

After the paying of my said debts, Funeral and other expenses, I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate which I may now or hereafter be possessed of or interested in, in the manner following; that is to say:

I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mrs. Ellen Corbett all my Freehold Lands and Buildings as situated at Clarke’s Beach together with Fishing and Farming Utensils, Small Boat etc.

This land as above mentioned is intended to mean all that parcel at Clarke’s Beach and Otterbury and specified in the former Wills and endownments at present in our joint possession.

I also bequeath to my beloved wife above mentioned All Cash, Monies, Notes, and like that I may be possessed of at the time of my death.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal 1st This Day of Dec In the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine hundred and Nineteen. Signed in the presence of Peter Power William Corbett Witness P.J. Corbett. THOMAS CORBETT.
