In re This is the last will and testament of me Theresa Dwyer of Carbonear in Conception Bay Newfoundland Spinster:- I hereby revoke all other and former wills by me made. I will devise and bequeath to my niece Julia Mullally of Carbonear aforesaid all and singular my property goods and chattels of which I shall die possessed and particularly all that dwelling house land and premises situate on the north side of Water Street at Harbour Rock Hill Carbonear now occupied by me and my mother and also all my furniture goods and chattels therein also secondly all my interest and property in the meadow at Irish Town in Carbonear now occupied by P. Hogan also thirdly that dwelling house land and premises situate on the north side of Water Street in Carbonear now occupied by Mr. John Scapelin as tenant and the eastern half of the land or garden at the rear of the said house last named also fourthly my one half share or interest of and in the land and premises occupied by the said John Scapelin as tenant on the south side of Water Street in Carbonear aforesaid situate between Patrick Sweeney’s and Richard McCarthy’s holdings To hold the same and every part thereof and all my property of which I die possessed unto the said Julia Mullally and her assigns for ever free from all claim and demand of any future husband of her the said Julia Mullally. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my name at St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland this eighth day of September Anno Domini eighteen hundred and seventy nine- Theresa Dwyer. Signed published and declared by the said testatrix Theresa Dwyer as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who in the presence of the said Theresa Dwyer and of each other have on the day and date above named signed and subscribed our names as witnesses of the due execution of this will.
