Will of Stephen Bradbury
Bradbury, Stephen Last will of

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen I Stephen Bradbury (of William) being sound in mind and memory do, on this twenty eighth day of march in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine, make this my last will and testament, as follows.

To my son, Isaac Bradbury, I give all the land he has been using and now hold possession of;

To my son, William Bradbury, I also give all the land and property he has been using and holds possession of.

To my son Samuel Bradbury I give the land he has been using together with the dwelling house in which we live, with all the household furniture and all the outbuildings and all the livestock and animals on said property.

The uncleared land which I own I direct that it be divided according to the grant into four equal portions one of the said portions I give to my son Isaac Bradbury. A second to my son William Bradbury, a third to my son Stephen Bradbury of St. John’s and the fourth to my son Samuel Bradbury, and I will that they choose their several portions by lot.

Whatever money I may die possessed of after my funeral expenses are deducted I will that it be divided equally between my sons Isaac, William, Stephen and Samuel, and my daughter Fanny Mercer.

My fishing room at Pack’s Harbor on both sides of the Harbor I will to my son Samuel Bradbury with the proviso that if either of my other sons should need to build a fishing room at Pack’s Harbor he shall allow them sufficient space to do so.

My fishing room and all the land situate at Juggler’s Cove, Bay Roberts, I will that be equally divided between my four sons Isaac, William, Stephen and Samuel.

I appoint Eli Dawe Esq. M.H.A. and Mrs. Benjamin Wilcox the executors of this my last will and testament and charge them to see that the provisions be faithfully carried out
