In re the Estate of
Sarah Gahaney deceased. I Sarah Gahaney widow of the deceased John Gahaney of Colliers Newfoundland being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this as my last will and testament; hereby revoking all former wills and testamentary dispositions, heretofore at any time by me made. I hereby bequeath all I possess both house and property to my grandson Thomas Ghaney to have and to hold after my decease and that he (Thos. Ghaney) is not to deprive my daughter Fanny Ghaney of her rights and home; but to look to her and support her while ever she remains unmarried with him. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this the fifth day of October one thousand eight hundred and ninety six Sarah her X mark Ghaney. Witness having been first read over and explained to her. James Hearn Michael Hearn. I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Sarah Ghaney. D. M.
