IN RE: SAMUEL PARSONS. DECEASED
I, Samuel Parsons (of Jas) Coley's Point in the District of Harbour Grace and Island of Newfoundland fisherman being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And as to my worldly estate and all my property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit. - I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Fanny Parsons what money I should have in my home or in the Banks at the time of my decease
To my eldest son Stewart Parsons and to my youngest son Sebastian Parsons all my Fishing gear and fishing property to carry on the fishing business or to divide equally or sell and divide the money equally between them according to what they think best themselves to do with it. To my second eldest son Allan Parsons the place and property he now possesses To my youngest son Allan Parsons Sebastian Parsons the place and property I now possess and that he is to take care of his mother the said Fanny Parsons and that there will be a home for her on my property with my youngest son the said Sebastian Parsons up to the time of her death as long as she remains in my name. The Horse and gear including Cart and Dray with the exception of the Carriage which is the property of my said wife Fanny Parsons to be used by my eldest son Stewart Parsons and my second eldest son Allan Parsons whenever it is necessary for them to use it.
In witness whereof I the said Samuel Parsons of James have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty two. SAMUEL his X mark PARSONS (of James)
