Will of Robert Bradbury

IN RE:   ROBERT BRADBURY.    DECEASED

I Robert Bradbury of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland fisherman being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament, thereby revoking all previous wills. I hereby appoint William Edward Bradbury & Robert George Bradbury (my sons) to be my executors of this my will who shall pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of my assets as soon as possible after my decease.

1. I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Bradbury all the money of which I may die possessed after paying my funeral expenses and making the following deductions viz Three hundred dollars to my son Wilfred Bradbury, and one hundred dollars each to Marcus William Bradbury, Harvey Bishop and Raymond Goulde Bradbury my grandsons I further order that all my other property (except fishing property) shall become the property of my wife till her decease after which it shall pass to my son Robert Bradbury should however my son Wilfred Bradbury require land on which to build a dwelling house a piece must be reserved for him, the balance must go to Robert my son.

All the fishing property that I own at the time of my decease either at Bay Roberts or on Labrador shall become the property of my son Robert Bradbury absolutely. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 12th day of August 1911 Robert his x mark Bradbury Signed by the said Robert Bradbury in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses W. Coates Booth Moses Earle.
