In re RICHARD BERNEY: DECEASED.

This name is spelled Berny and Berney in the will and Berney in the will index

In the name of Almighty God Amen- I the undersigned Richard Berney of Carbonear in the Northern District of Newfoundland, N.D. being weak in body but sound in mind and memory do by this my last will and testament bequeath my soul to Almighty God and my body to the earth- I also will and bequeath to my beloved wife Alice Berney all my real and personal property (that is to say) two dwelling houses situate on the main street at Harbor Grace in the said District and all moneys that I may possess or have lodged in the Savings Banks in Saint John’s and Harbor Grace, together with my household furniture and all other property I may own or possess at the time of my death I bequeath the whole to my wife Alice aforesaid. Given under my hand and seal at Carbonear aforesaid the eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy one,
