Richard Gregory deceased. I Richard Gregory of Brigus South being now sick do will and bequeath whatever I may die possessed of after paying my just debts to my nephew Thomas Gregory and to his wife Catherine with whom I had lived these three years back with the proviso that out of the rents coming due from time to time out of my fishing room in this Harbour there to be given ten pounds to the Revd James Murphy for religious purposes and for the good of my soul And I do appoint my brother Simon Gregory to be the executor of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand this 13th day of February 1863, Richard his X mark Gregory. Witness John Battcock.
