Will of Rachel Rendell

In re     RACHEL RENDELL.     DECEASED. I, Rachel Rendell, of Coley’s Point, in the Island of Newfoundland, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament.

As to my worldly estate of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise, bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following, to wit:-

I give devise and bequeath to my beloved son Harry Bernard Russell all my land situated on the South Side of Coley’s Point - the part or parcel of land situated on the North of the South Road of the said Coley’s Point, and all situated on the South Side of said Road to have and to hold to the said Harry Bernard Russell, his heirs, and assigns forever.

Also, will that the said Harry Bernard Russell shall have the part of the house belonging to me:

As my husband William George Rendell has failed to support me for a number of years I feel it my duty to leave my property to my beloved son, the said Harry Bernard Russell.

In witness whereof I, the said Rachel rendell, have to this my last Will and Testament, subscribed my name this the     day of November, in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Signed, Sealed, and declared by the said Rachel Rendell, as and for her last Will and testament, in the presence of us, and who at her request and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto.
