The last Will and Testament of Patrick Delaney of Cupid’s Newfoundland.
I, Patrick Delaney, make this my last Will and Testament revoking all other letters etc made by me. The interest of whatever cash in Stocks I possess, I leave to my daughter, Mary, after all bills of expenses and bequests have been paid by my executor. My executor will pay her yearly the interest. In the event my daughter has to leave the Convent for any reason my executor will give her full possession of balance of monies & Stocks after he has paid all bequests. In the event of my daughter dying whilst in Convent all monies and Stocks of which she gets interest will go to my niece - Maud Behan. I give and bequeath to my niece Maud Behan my dwelling house in St. John’s. In the event of my daughter leaving the Convent and returning to Newfoundland & she is to have home in my house if she wishes. I am giving my executor memo of bequests, instruction etc. I appoint Rev. Dr. J. Murphy Brigus my sole executor. Signed sealed and delivered this 19th day of August 1925. P.
