Will of Patrick Delaney

In re: PATRICK DELANEY. DECEASED.

St. John's July 8th 1910 I Patrick Delaney son of Mark Delaney born in Bay Roberts in the year of our Lord 1846, being of sound mind and body do make this my last will and testament I bequeat to my wife E.C. Delaney the whole of my property consisting of dwelling house store & out Houses and Land situated at Bay Roberts together with my furniture, Bedding and household utentials money in Bank of Novascotia which is in her name also 40 shares in the Reid Newfoundland Company. And after her death to be equally divided between my son and daughter. I give and bequeat to my daughter Mrs. Tilley my dwelling house store & outhouses and land there to attatching and to my son Agustine Joseph Delaney that piece and parcel of land situated on the East side of the Road knowin as Bursells Road, the moneys and furniture to be equally divided between son & daughter. St. John's June 4th 1913 My dear wife With this complaint of Heart trouble I have we cannot tell what time I may die and in case of a sudden death I wish to have my affairs settled so as to give you no trouble after I am dead of course my previous will stands good the one signed by Mr. Thomas Armstrong and made before this House No. 2 Hamilton Street was bought and I wish to leave this House and property to you my wife togather with the Furniture and all the contents to do with as you please to sell when and to whom you please and after paying my lawful deaths the ballance to be yours. I remain your loving Husband Patrick Delaney. (Listed in the margin next to this will the following) Fiat Apr. 29/14 C.J. Admn c.t.a. May 12:14 granted to Simon Butler Estate sworn at $4750.00
