Will of Matthew Penny
In re MATTHEW PENNY. DECEASED.
This name is spelled Penny in the will and Penney in the wills index

The last will and testament of Matthew Penny I Matthew Penny of Harbor Main in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland Fisherman do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my son John Penny the cabbage garden and cellar now occupied by him- I also give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Penny the remaining part of my land together with my dwelling house. My said son Thomas Penny is to support my wife Hannah Pe nny during her natural life. I also give and bequeath unto my son William Penny the sum of one shilling sterling.     I hereby appoint Charles Furey Esquire sole executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the twenty third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine-
