         Mark Alcock deceased.

Know all men by these presents that this is the last will and testament of me Mark Alcock of Harbor Grace being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following First I give devise and bequeath unto my son Thomas Alcock his heirs and assigns for ever all that my dwelling house cottage store and outhouses together with the land thereunto belonging situate at Harbor Grace and now in his occupancy Also all that piece or parcel of land called Otterbury land bounded on the north by Samuel Parmeter on the east by Charles Crocker and Timothy Kelly on the south by the harbor on the west by Widow Thistle’s land.     Second, I give devise and bequeath unto to my wife Christina Alcock her heirs and assigns for ever all that my dwelling house and land where unto belonging which I now occupy and reside in Also all that piece of land bounded on the north by Warrens property on the east by Pellys property on the south by the harbor and on the west by Stoews property And all the rest residue and remainder of my estate wheresoever or whatsoever nature or kind soever the same may be I may die possessed of.     And I hereby ordain constitute and appoint Henry Alcock and Matthew Davis executors to this my last will and testament revoking all other former wills and testaments at any time heretofore made by me.     In witness whereof I have hereunto set and subscribed my hand and seal at Harbor Grace this the seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one.     Mark     X     Alcock (LS)     Signed sealed published and declared by the said Mark Alcock as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto after having read over and fully explained the same.     James L.
