The Defendant being brought before the Court on the 14th September last took his trial being there charged with behaving in a riotous manner on Sunday Evening, the 12th September at Mint Cove in Spaniard’s Bay, he then prayed that he might be allowed a week to get witnesses in order to contradict the charges brought against him at that time—Joseph Foster, the Defendant, being this day before the Court was questioned and if he had his witnesses—having had sufficient time to summons them—when he returned for answer he was not summoned to attend Court on the 2nd instant—sufficient proof being given the was—and having no witnesses to bring forward this day

It was ordered that the Defendant do pay the charges incurred on the 11th September amounting to Seven pounds Six shillings and Eight pence
