Will of Joseph Bishop from Newfoundland will books volume 10 pages 470-471 probate year 1916

 In re

    JOSEPH BISHOP      deceased.

    I Joseph Bishop of Coleys Point in the District of Harbour Grace and Island of Newfoundland, fisherman, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made at any time heretofore.     And as to all my worldly goods of which I shall be seized and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise bequeath and dispose hereof in the manner following to wit:     I give to my son Archibald Bishop- child of a former wife- all my land dwelling house, outhouses horse and gear to have and to hold the same to the said Archibald Bishop his heirs and assigns to his and their use forever     To my wife Caroline Bishop I give the right to live in the said dwelling house till the time of her decease, or till she marry again.     To my children by my second wife- the said Caroline Bishop. I give the right to live in the said dwelling house bequeathed to my son Archibald Bishop till they shall arrive at an age when they shall be able to work for themselves.     And, lastly, I do nominate and appoint my two sons Archibald and Joseph Bishop to be the executors of this my last will and testament     In witness whereof I the said Joseph Bishop, have to this my last will and testament, consisting of two sheets of paper subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.     Joseph his X mark Bishop     Signed sealed published and declared by the said Joseph Bishop, as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto Witnesses:- James Norman Stephen Roach.
