IN RE: JOHN SHERIDAN. DECEASED
I John Sheridan of the
South Side River Head, Harbor Grace, being of sound disposing mind, memory
and understanding and considering the uncertainty of this life do make,
publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament as follows:
First: I direct that my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expenses
be paid.
Second.
I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ellen Sheridan all
the real and personal estate of which I shall be possessed at the time
of my death - she to have absolute control over the same during her life.
Third after my wifes death my son John shall become
sole owner of all my property both real and personal with the exception
of my Dwelling House and the Furniture contained therein.
Fourth: I give
devise and bequeath unto my daughter, Catherine Duggan,
my Dwelling House and the Furniture contained therein at the time of
my wifes death.
Fifth: I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary
Dooley, the sum of Twenty Dollars - said sum to be paid to her as soon
as possible after my decease Sixth: After my daughter Catherine’s death the property herein bequeathed
to her shall become the property of my Grandson, James Duggan,
said Dwelling to remain in its present position not to be removed
Lastly:
I hereby constitute my son John and my wife Ellen to
be Executor and executrix of this my last will and Testament, revoking
and annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying, and confirming
this and no other to be my last will and Testament - John his

and for his last will and Testament in presence of us, who at his request
and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have signed as
witnesses to the same this 13th day of January in the year
