In re JOHN RYAN DECEASED In the name of God. Amen. I, John Ryan, of Holyrood in the District of Harbor Main, being of sound mind for which I thank God, do hereby revoke all former wills by me made and declare this to be my last will. I bequeath to Mr. W. J. Beese who so kindly cared for me, my house with its contests; my meadow; all outhouses; that piece or parcel of land, a little farther in the Road and bounded on the one part by the two main bridges, and on the others by the main brook or river, by land belonging to Wall, and by land belonging to Barrett. I also leave Mrs. W. J. Beese One hundred dollars cash. I bequeath to my nephew, Bernard Lewis, my horse, waggon, sleigh, slide, dray and box cars and harnesses. I also leave him Five hundred dollars cash for his education. I bequeath to my daughter, Bride Ryan of winchester Mass. U. S. A. Oil Certificates of the value of Two hundred dollars at Eight per centum. I leave her also eight hundred dollars cash. I bequeath to my sister, Sara Lewis One hundred dollars cash; and to my brother, William Ryan, One hundred dollars, cash; also to the Catholic Church at Holyrood One hundred dollars, cash. I bequeath bed - bed - stead, wash - stand, pictures of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Sacred Heart of Mary to my niece Mary Lewis. I bequeath my watch and chain to Willie Ryan my nephew. I bequeath my gun to my nephew Frank Lewis. I bequeath my trunk to my nephew, Jerome Lewis. I leave my clothes to be disposed of by Rev. W. P. Finn as he thinks well of - for the poor - especially to remember me in their prayers. I bequeath my Life Insurance to Rev. W. P. Finn for purpose of enabling him to build a presbytery. I wish to be buried in a Christian manner according to the rites of the Catholic Church, and that a tomb stone be erected to my memory. After all my lawful debts, dues, and demands are paid, I will that residue of real estate be employed for Masses for the repose of my soul. I hereby appoint my parish priest, Rev. W. P. Finn administrator of my will. Made this 12th day of December A. D. 1922.
