In re John Giles deceased. This is the last will and Testament of me John Giles of Carbonear in the Island of Newfoundland General Trader - I give devise and bequeath to my wife Mary Ann Giles all my land dwelling House and other Houses and erections of which I may die possessed or entitled to also any and all schooner or schooners or other vessels with all their gear and furniture also all money of which I may die possessed or entitled to also all my household furniture goods chattels and effects also any other property goods debts chattels and effects of which I may die possessed or entitled to - all and everything - I give devise and bequeath to my said wife Mary Ann Giles and I hereby appoint my said wife Mary Ann Giles the Executrix of this my said will. Dated at Saint John’s this fifteenth day of May A.D. one thousand Eight hundred and eighty five John Giles signed Published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last will and Testament in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution of the same George Hy.
