Will of Jane Smith

In re: JANE SMITH. DECEASED.

I, Jane Smith of Bishop’s Cove, am this 20th day of February 1923 weak & feeble in health but of good understanding, and declare this to be my last Will & Testament.

I give & bequeath to my son Cyril Smith the half of all my land & property situate at Bishop’s Cove & the half of the land, fishing room, & other property at Pig Island Labrador.

I give & bequeath to my grandsons James Smith and Kenneth Smith, sons of Rhodie Smith (deceased) the other half of my land & property situate at Bishop’s Cove & Pig Island, Labrador.

All my other property I may die possessed of I give & bequeath to my son Cyril Smith I also appoint my son Cyril Smith Executor of this my last will & testament & hereby revoke all former wills & codicils. Signed JANE her X mark SMITH

Signed by the Testator as & for her last will and testament in our presence & in presence of each other, who at her request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to her mark, this 20th day of February. 1923.
